Francis Law graduated from Hong Kong Baptist University with Bachelor (Hons) of Music (Major in Composition / Guitar) in 1992. He joined TVB Hong Kong Television Broadcasts Ltd as Musical Director (1991 - 1995), composed and arranged music theme songs and underscore for TV productions / drama episode series including highly acclaimed “File Of Justice, …” 壹号皇庭剧集系列. Production collaborations with various renowned Asian singers, including Faye Wong, Leon Lai, Wakin Chau, Christopher Wong, (王菲、黎明、周华健、黄凯勤) ….

Francis' students have won RCM Regional Silver Medals (2005 - 2008); many of them had successfully admitted to prestigious Music College programs majoring in Guitar performance (with full scholarships), including University of Toronto; Humber College, .... He joined ORMTA since 1995 and was commissioned by RCM to review and comment on the new Guitar Syllabus launch in (2004, 2011).
